 We all know that Marshall makes great quality equipment; they are legendary in the industry. Marshall's effect pedals are no exception. Unfortunately, Marshall was selling these pedals way too cheap for what they were costing to make. Hold one of these beautiful pedals in your hand and you will instantly know what I am talking about. Before you even plug it in you will know that no corners were cut in crafting these new classics. The build quality is pretty amazing. These are durable, reliable, well made pedals. More importantly they sound AWESOME! No cheap circuitry robbing your fidelity and squashing your frequency range. These pedals will rock your world! They were simply priced way too cheap and Marshall was not making any money off of the line.

Economic times being what they are, Marshall decided to disontinue the effect pedal line and blow them out. In addition to regular stock, Audio-Depot managed to buy a bunch of the unsold Marshall PD-8 dealer displays which have eight of the pedals on them, completely wired and powered on a heavy duty metal pedal board. You can buy the whole display (talk about an awesome deal!) or buy them individually. The individual pedals will be sold as 'new, no box' since, of course, they don't have boxes but they are still brand new. In other words, these pedals are from brand new un-opened displays that we are opening to dismantle.

We will limit the number of pedal boards that we dismantle for individual sale and all quantities are, of course, limited to stock on hand. Get them while you can! They will never be this cheap again.

Since we began in 1962, the Marshall name has been synonymous with high quality distortion tones. Initially, the way to get classic Marshall distortion was to naturally overdrive one of our valve amps by cranking it up to full volume. As time went by our Master Volume heads allowed the generation of more extreme levels of distortion as the pre-amp valves were driven into overdrive. Our first generation pedals simulated these various valve amp type distortions in convenient, cost-effective stomp boxes. The Jackhammer is the next step on from previous Marshall distortion pedals.

The pedal contains our most extreme distortion levels to date, combined with a Contour section that allows you to not only scoop out the mids, but also choose the frequencies at which the scoop occurs. This means that you can tailor your sound to your own individual requirements. Although the Jackhammer has more aggression and gain than any other Marshall pedal, we never forget our heritage. The sounds contained are always natural and realistic, like a super high-gain valve head pushed to the max.
