At the Golden Ball we pick our Shiraz in three stages which can only be days apart. To pick in the cool mornings is advantageous with our fruit. Indigenous yeasts post fermentation skin contact and the malolactic stage in barrel are all attributes that bond well with the lineage vineyard site along with the Burgundian coopers used for barrel aging.

Colour
Purple glint highlights.
Aroma
Briar forest, dark spice mace and clove warmth.
Palate
Dark fruits, bramble, length of oak. Tannins there for the stead of time. The acid balance to carry the mouth filling fruit. A more inline wine, finer than the 2010 vintage; will hold well to cellar.
