These powerful clippers are better than ever. A new housing made from a strong material makes the A5 clippers virtually unbreakable under normal working conditions. The Oster A5 is the grooming industry standard. Available in a single speed or a 2 speed version.The single speed clipper operates at 2100 strokes per minute which is useful for general purpose clipping on body, feet and ears. The two speed clipper has a switch that enables the operate to select between the 2100 stoke per minute "normal" speed or a faster 3000 stroke per minute "high" speed. The "high" speed is faster and is designed for fast body clipping on dogs. On horses the "high" speed is useful for bridle paths and leg and face trimming - in fact anywhere the horse doesn't object to the slighly more noise generated by the faster speed. The slower speed is generally quieter and more acceptable for ear clipping for most horses.1 Year warranty against manufacturing faults.Product pictured is the 2 speed version.
