Storage of Equipment Post Sale

  • The current storage lease must be taken over by the purchaser as of the 1st July.
  • The storage lease cost is approx. $7,000 plus gst per month.
  • If extra space was required to process the equipment on site, the port will advise on a m2 per month price for the duration of the processing phase.
  • Once the equipment is paid and lease is taken over by the purchaser, the transaction from the receiver/ Grays is complete and the responsibly of the equipment will be with the buyer.

Port Acess Requirments

  • If the successful buyer would like to conduct works on site, they will be required to hold a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC). Buyers contractors (such as crane companies or freight) can be escorted on to site by the card holders.
  • The card application can be made via www.msic.net.au who advise it would be approved in 2-3 weeks.
  • Bell Bay Port contacts will be passed over to te buyer to arrange access and the change over of the current stoage lease.

Delivered 2009, currently stored indoors and secured, Turbine & Generator completely sealed, silica gel is inserted in the Turbine & Generator and regularly replaced. Equipped with electronic monitoring sensors for humidity & temperature with criteria from Toshiba for storage, monitoring report generated monthly, inspection of unit every (2) weeks, thorough Inspections were done every (6) months until 2012, then yearly, inspection protocols available.

Inspection is highly recommended prior to bidding, description & photos should be used as a guide only.

Collection of assets is the responsibility of the purchaser. Delivery is not available. Asset packaging and removal are the purchaser responsibility in the time frame specified for this sale. Goods not collected within this time frame will be deemed abandoned.

Invoice totals exceeding $10,000 must be paid by direct deposit.

A Buyers Premium of 5% + 10% GST applies to all lots purchased in this auction.

By registering and bidding you have agreed to our terms and conditions of sale. If necessary please familiarise yourself with them prior to bidding on items in this sale.

Please take care when placing a bid, as once your bid is placed it cannot be altered or withdrawn.

Graysonline will not be organising transport of goods. Please consider this prior to bidding.

Occupational Health & Safety ASSET REMOVAL & REUSE

GraysOnline warn buyers that all plant offered for sale at Auction may not be fit for use in a workplace. It is the buyers/users responsibility to ensure that it is brought to a state necessary to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and is fit for purpose. The cost and responsibility for all aspects of asset removal lies with the buyer. All work carried out by the buyer or his/her agent must be in accordance with relevant site and/or industry conditions as well as to the instructions of GraysOnline Auctions and our vendor.

A summary of these types of enforceable requirements is as follows.

  • Persons under the age of 15 years of age will not be permitted on site unless accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times
  • Tradespeople eg electricians, plumbers etc will be required to produce relevant licence before commencing work on site
  • Forklift, crane drivers, riggers etc will be required to produce licence before commencing work on site
  • It is a condition of entry to site that all visitors comply with any directions given by GraysOnline staff or representatives
  • Work carried out on this site must be done in a manner compliant with all Occupational Health & Safety legislation
  • All power tools and equipment used on this site must be tested (tagged) safe for use in accordance with AS3760 service testing and inspection of electrical equipment
  • GraysOnline will specify, based on the hazards present on the site, the mandatory personal protective equipment required to be worn prior to approval being given for entry to the site, eg safety footwear, safety eyewear, hard hats etc
  • The use of certified equipment, harnesses, work platforms etc will be required for any work carried out above 1.8 metres

Inspection of the assets is highly recommended. Bids on assets in this sale should be made based on your inspection and assessment of the goods. Descriptions and photographs should be used as a guide only. If you are unsure do not bid as no refunds will be given.

Delivery is not an option for this sale. The removal of the goods is the buyer's responsiblity **

The pickup address is Bell Bay Pulp Mill, Tasmania. Pick ups are not allowed outside of the dates/times listed below.

  • The area is defined as a work site and in accordance with the requirements of the VIC OH&S Act 2004, site removal activities must be conducted on a safe manner. In order to manage and minimise site risks. The assets have been categorized into type A or B Assets

Site activities must be in accordance with Graysonline contractor procedures and are to be collected by appointment with a qualified contractor. JSAs and contractor requirements forms are to be submitted before work is started on site.

Pick up can only be made once cleared funds are received. Purchasers cannot pick up until full invoice is paid.

Please advise Graysonline of your removal/collection arrangements, the following contractor package must be faxed or emailed to Matthew matthew.fraser@grays.com.au or +61 (03) 9427 4200.

An invoice will be available for collection when you pick up your goods.

Once assets are removed or lease if taken over the transaction between GraysOnline and the bidder is deemed complete. There will be no recourse beyond this time, even in the event of third party collections. If you are unsure please refrain from bidding.

Important Information: Please note it is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the safe removal of their lots and provide suitably qualified personnel to remove their lots. All lots have been electrically disconnected. Occupational Health and Safety regulations apply to this site. Any questions regarding the removal of any lots should be directed to the enquiries name or phone number indicated on sale web page.

Third Party Pick Up

If you intend to send a Third Party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your Winner’s E-mail and Signed Note of Authority permitting GraysOnline staff to release your purchases to the third party. Alternatively, Email - matthew.fraser or fax all relevant documents to +61 (03) 8552 4400 with the required information to ensure a speedy and efficient collection.

The information needed is:

  • Sale and Lot Numbers e.g. 002-60325
  • Buyer’s Registered Name and/or Email
  • Transport details: Company Name, Contact Person and Job Number provided by the transport company.
