Winery Tasting Notes

The Burlesque is pale straw in colour with a bright green hue and fine mousse. It exhibits clean aromas of fresh and preserved citrus. A surprisingly textural wine, it has a fine persistent bead and a creamy mouthfeel. Citrus flavours dominate the palate with a refreshingly dry finish. This wine is a perfect aperitif style, or can be enjoyed glass after glass.

Vinaceous is the brainchild of Nick Stacy (Marketing Manager for West Cape Howe, Pitchfork and Hay Shed Hill Wines), Gavin Berry (CEO/winemaker of West Cape Howe Wines) and Michael Kerrigan (CEO/winemaker of Hayshed Hill Wines). Together, they have sourced some of the best Shiraz, Grenache, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from McLaren Vale and Padthaway/Limestone Coast to produce wines of extraordinary flavour, intensity, and above all quality.
