The 2023 Medhurst Estate Rosé from Victoria's Yarra Valley is a refined and expressive wine crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. It showcases a brilliant pale copper blush with a vibrant pink hue. The nose is aromatic, featuring wild strawberries, grapefruit, jasmine blossom, and subtle notes of bay leaf. On the palate, it offers a fine and textured experience with flavors of cassis and hints of passionfruit, culminating in a long, chalky, and delicate finish.

Winery Profile

Medhurst Wines is the realisation of the long held and shared vision of Ross and Robyn Wilson to own a property in the Yarra Valley and produce high quality wines. The vineyard site was chosen for its favourable micro-climate, north facing slopes, good drainage and magnificent aspect. With the sole objective of making the best wine possible, careful vineyard management ensures yields are low, averaging two tonnes per acre and providing intensely flavoured fruit.
