Limestone Coast Winemaking is a large contract co-operative where a wide range of Limestone coast winegrowers make their wine. The Limestone Coast is the source of the best value regional wines in South Australia and a beautifully diverse but moderate climate perfect for premium winemaking.

Winery Tasting Notes

Clear, with yellow hues. On the nose you’ll find ripe varietal fruit flavours of apple, grilled nuts and citrus with intoxicating florals and spice. A beautifully lifted and expressive wine with mouth-filling that finishes crisp and fresh. A good all rounder that marries equally well with white fish or pork dishes.

The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. Elephant in the Room was created to give consumers exactly what they want – full bodied and mouth-filling wines that deliver maximum pleasure.

Each wine is sourced from slow-ripening cool climate vineyards in the Limestone Coast of South Australia and partially matured in French Oak. The Chardonnay is sourced from the coastal Robe wine region, the Cabernet from near Mount Benson and the Pinot Noir from an elevated site near Mount Gambier.
