Expert Reviews

The quintessential combination from the Barossa in this excellent year. Spicy red fruits emerge on the nose with a little liquorice evident. The palate introduces a trace of liquorice and dark chocolate with a faint backdrop of mocha and coffee grinds. Beautiful oak and tannin balance contributes to the silky smooth and seamless palate profile.

Lifted aromas of cherry and spice combine with a palate of dark chocolate, red berries and fine tannins, to produce a full flavoured wine with excellent length. This wine drinks well now and will reward patient cellaring for 5 to 7 years. We did the ground work, now it’s up to you to reap the rewards.
