Discovering the history of Famille Piffaut Vins &Domaines is like going back in time... ‍ 1820The Ninot Family created a Burgundy Wine House. It was later passed on to Charles Ninot who developed it andgave it his name. ‍ 1898 ‍ Charles's sister Marie Ambal ,whose husband had died in Paris, returned to settle in Rully .She began producing sparkling wines and founded Maison Veuve Ambal . 1929 ‍Charles Roux-Ambal , Marie's grandson, took over.Entrepreneurial and ambitious, he developed the company and established itsreputation. 1988 Eric Piffaut , representing the fifthgeneration, took over as head of the company. He continued its development andmade the family one of the largest wine-growing owners in the region . 1998 Thefamily acquires Maison Rivarose in Provence , the benchmarkfor Mediterranean sparkling wines. 2005 A pivotal year duringwhich the Family invests in an ultra-modern site, sets up inMontagny-Iès-Beaune, then acquires Maison André Delorme . 2010 AurélienPiffaut joins the adventure the year of the acquisition of MaisonProsper Maufoux , marking new ambitions in the Great Wines ofBurgundy. 2015 The Château de Saint-Aubin and itsextraordinary estate on the Côte des Blancs, becomes the new showcase of MaisonProsper Maufoux . 2020 The company adopts its newidentity: Famille Piffaut Vins & Domaines . 2022 FamillePiffaut Vins & Domaines diversifies by integrating Gabriel Boudier ,manufacturer of premium liqueurs and spirits in Dijon as well as the Belenium breweryin Beaune.
