Hand-picked, chilled overnight, 90% whole-berry fermented, a 10% whole bunch component blended in. Bright crimson-purple; an example of great things coming from the '17 vintage. A beautiful pinot for drinking now or later. Long, pure cherry plum fruit; fine tannins.

It’s a strange world we find ourselves in, that when a wine receives a good score like 89 or 90 points, it’s considered by many to not be high enough. Anyway, this can be found under $20 at some places.

Red fruits, spice, light dusty tannin, fresh feeling, strawberry, and dare I say it, perhaps a touch of the old Burgundy rouge here, not least with its tasty autumnal aftertaste. Lovely to drink. Easy to enjoy. In short, it delivers the Pinot goods. It may well even improve with another year in bottle, though that’s hardly the point.
