The Majella Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Coonawarra’s most acclaimed wines, consistently winning trophies and medals worldwide. Deep magenta with a garnet hue, it delivers eucalypt, mint, and dark berry fruits, layered with fruit cake complexity and fine, dusty tannins. Cellar for 12-15 years.

WINEMAKING

Majella Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in both static and rotary stainless steel fermenters. Fermentation was completed in 300-litre barrels, followed by 18 months of maturation in new and second-use French oak hogsheads.

All Cabernet Sauvignon parcels are kept separate to assess batch quality before blending and bottling off-site.

The Coonawarra vintage delivered an exceptional growing season, with:
