Appearance:

Deep ruby-red colour typical of a youthful Tempranillo, with bright edges indicating freshness.

Nose:

Aromas of bright raspberry, satsuma plum with hints of sage and thyme — inviting and fresh.

Palate:

Shows vibrant fresh fruit characters — strawberry and raspberry — with a savoury edge. Chalky, fine tannins give the wine structure and length.

Texture & Structure:

Medium-bodied with balanced acid and savoury, chalk-like tannins that give finesse and grip on the palate.

Finish:

Clean finish with lingering red fruit and savoury notes, making it both approachable now and enjoyable with food.

The Pepperjack winemakers are conscious ofmodern wine styles, and are creating wines that reflect our passion for thisspecial region. The Pepperjack wines are rich and honest - showcasing theBarossa's outstanding qualities.

After harvesting, the individual parcels of fruit were crushed, destemmed andfermented separately in traditional style fermenters. The wine was then pressedinto a combination of seasoned and new French and American oak barrels for15 months maturation prior to blending and bottling.
