Winery Tasting Notes

Garnet with crimson hues. On the nose a complex weave of bramble and forest floor notes framed with dark cherry and lifted by Chinese Five Spice and a subtle cordite notes. The palate is exceptionally even and generous, delivering plush, flavoursome dark cherry and juicy redcurrant fruit. Brambly, forest floor characters add nuance and savoury complexity. The mid palate builds with texture and detail, unfolding cordite elements and fine grained, velvety tannins. Subtle, integrated oak underpins structure and drive, finishing long with restrained power and refined elegance.
