Winery Tasting Notes
This Chardonnay has alluring white peach aroma. The palate as stone fruit flavours and a soft and delicious creamy finish. Delicious to drink now on its own or to enjoy with mildly spicy Asian food and chicken dishes.
Winery Profile
Rolf Blickling has established his vineyard (planted to riesling, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon and shiraz) at an elevation of 950m. Frosts in spring and April underline how cool the climate is, necessitating careful site selection. The cellar door also operates a lavender and eucalyptus oil distillery.
