Wine Summary Image

The Rivetti family grows Barbera, Nebbiolo, Moscato. Since 2009 no pesticides or herbicides have been used, only the use of natural fertilizers, such as mixing organic cow manure with secondary products leftover from fermentation. The manual collection of worms in spring that feed on the buds, compromising production is also another hands on approach to sustainability in the vineyard. Ca' di Bruno take pride in vine health and vine management, vine age varies from 35 to 75 years old with each vintage having limits on yields per hectare to maximize the grape quality, the terroir and production areas. Ca' di Bruno only select the best quality fruit, with the use of natural fermentations and minimal addition of sulphur dioxide in the cellar.

Sourced from select vineyards in the Langhe, this wine offers a more approachable take on Nebbiolo while maintaining the complexity and depth that make the variety so revered. With its combination of bright fruit, fine tannins, and signature earthy undertones, Ca’ di Bruno Langhe Nebbiolo is a fantastic introduction to the grape before stepping into Barolo or Barbaresco.

Winery Tasting Notes

Deep garnet in the glass, the nose is immediately inviting with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and dried rose petals, complemented by hints of crushed violets, anise, and earthy spice. On the palate, this Nebbiolo is medium-bodied with a refined structure, offering flavors of tart red berries, pomegranate, and subtle herbal notes. Fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity provide balance and elegance, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish with lingering touches of cedar and dried herbs.

This Langhe Nebbiolo pairs beautifully with truffle risotto, wild mushroom pasta, and slow-cooked lamb. Its bright acidity and delicate tannins also make it a great match for aged cheeses, charcuterie, or classic Piedmontese dishes like vitello tonnato. Enjoyable now for its vibrancy, it can also develop additional complexity with 5–7 years of cellaring.
