We are proud to be a James Halliday 5 star rated vineyard for a number of years. Our winery has been awarded “Top Wineries of Australia” by Huon Hooke The Real Review, and our wines have won numerous accolades.

The Pinot Gris is sourced solely from our own vineyard and is one of the oldest plantings of Pinot Gris in Victoria. Planted in 1996 these vines are producing fruit with purity and depth.

This wine is an ode to Pinot Gris’s versatility. A combination of selectively hand harvested fruit allowed to rest on skins under careful temperature control alongside a ferment ‘on skins’ has created a mystical wine that has been able to regional and varietal diversity.

Winery Tasting Notes

Alluring pale pink in colour. Sweetly spiced and unctuous, the aromas are pear and citrus driven with a spicy element that adds complexity and depth. A warm, plush primary fruited palate is concentrated but kept in tune with bright acidity and a fine line of structured and defined phenolics that keep the flavours travelling the full length of the palate.

Winery Profile

Award-winning wine, magnificent views and luscious fruit are what you can expect from the Clyde Park Vineyard. The setting on the picturesque hills surrounding the Moorabool River, 30 km north of Geelong, Victoria, places Clyde Park at the forefront of cool climate viticulture.

The vineyard was established in 1979 with small plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Further plantings have expanded to include Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Our Pinot Noir consists of seven different clones originating from Switzerland, California, France and Australia.
