Wine Summary Image

Clyde Park vineyard was established in 1979 with small plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Further plantings have expanded to include Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. The site consists of undulating north easterly slopes. The soil varies from silt/clay to sandy loam with basalt over a limestone base. Plantings on our north easterly slope provide exposure to sunlight, whilst the river flat area offers warmth and wind protection. Viticulturally the site produces premium fruit of low yields providing balanced wines of great purity, complexity and finesse.

Winery Tasting Notes

The wine presents a delicate blush hue with fine, persistent bubbles.

The nose is expressive, offering aromas of fresh strawberries, rose petals, and a hint of citrus zest.

On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of red berries and a touch of creaminess.

The acidity is well-balanced, providing a clean and lively finish.

Award-winning wine, magnificent views and luscious fruit are what you can expect from the Clyde Park Vineyard. The setting on the picturesque hills surrounding the Moorabool River, 30 km north of Geelong, Victoria, places Clyde Park at the forefront of cool climate viticulture.

The vineyard was established in 1979 with small plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Further plantings have expanded to include Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Our Pinot Noir consists of seven different clones originating from Switzerland, California, France and Australia.
