Charming and delightfully expressed, the inviting bouquet shows nectarine, honeydew melon, citrus peel and floral aromas, followed by a refreshing palate offering elegant fruit intensity and creamy mouthfeel, making it fabulously drinkable

Winery Tasting Notes

A fine vintage sparkling cuvee of Chardonnay (55%) and Pinot Noir (45%) from the outstanding 2019 vintage. Delicate mousse and bursting with aromas of green apples, lemons and light raspberry fruits complimented by a hint of brioche leading to a rich, clean finish.

Purchased by the Geber family in 1998, Château Tanunda is fast re-establishing its position as a Barossa Valley icon.Careful restoration of the buildings, grounds and winery demonstrates the Geber family’s commitment to The Châteauand to the re-building of its premium winemaking reputation.

The Château owns 100ha of vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valleys and is supported by a band of 30 loyal growerswith blocks covering the panoply of Barossa sub-regions. It is this diversity of ‘terroirs’ which enables each wine in theChâteau Tanunda range to best exemplify the region and its strengths, whilst maintaining the Château’s house style.
