Pale straw with classic Eden Valley aromas of Bickford's lime cordial, freshly squeezed lime and grapefruit with hints of Christmas lily, crushed quartz, Crème fraîche, almond paste, dried clover blossom and honeysuckle. The clover appears again on the palate, which shows excellent focus and a long pull of limey flavour, finishing dry and grapefruity.

Winery Tasting Notes

Clear and bright colour; hay and straw, and almost luminous. Mineral water and bath salts, quartz and slate, lemon sherbet and lime zest. Intensely aromatic - almost a sensation rather than a smell. And it repays olfactory revisitation: green herbs and apple skin emerges; there’s floral bouquets and blossom, musk and orange peel and cold steel. The savoury bath salts and minerality flow through from the nose to the palate, as do the intense lemon sherbet flavours. Yet again, however, this is as much a sensation as it is a taste. Hence an ensuing ethereality. The core of pure - purest - fruit is balanced by a long and lasting line of searing acidity.
