Winery Tasting Notes

In the glass it has a bronzed hue showing its Pinot Gris origins and is a really great colour in the glass. Lifted aromas of pear and apple with floral hints and a suggestion of grilled nuts. A really fresh fruit-driven palate that has good texture and weight with a refreshing acid finish. Perfect for drinking on it’s own or with a dish of salt and pepper squid.

Each wine is sourced from slow-ripening cool climate vineyards in the Limestone Coast of South Australia and partially matured in French Oak. The Chardonnay is sourced from the coastal Robe wine region, the Cabernet from near Mount Benson and the Pinot Noir from an elevated site near Mount Gambier.
