Winery Tasting Notes

Clear and bright; hay-white and white gold. Heightened stone fruit aromatics: white peach and white nectarine both just - just - on the verge of perfect under-ripeness. Apricot seems to whiff it’s quick way through before ripe lemon zest and green apple skin shine. Piercing yet giving and always alluring. The richness of the stone fruits continues into the palate, which quickly floods with bright, fresh and yet deep flavours that delve into the worlds of cucumber, grapefruit, mandarin and melon. And then the acidity sweeps in like a cavalry charge of one perfectly mounted rider, sabre drawn and helmet plume shining in the sunshine of a brilliant dawn. The initial and continuing fruit ripeness is thereby transmogrified into something more minerally and savoury. Quite a ride.
