Very aromatic, all citrus blossom and lime juice in scents, a little tickle of wet slate or similar, but mostly about the florals and fruitiness. Welcomingly bitey and fresh to taste, a crispness, a light juiciness, a good steely, chalky finish way down the trail too. Lime juice, green apple juice, a little musk stick. Beautifully done and so inviting.

AROMA

This 2020 Watervale Riesling has lifted aromas of white spring flowers and granny smith apple.

PALATE

Generous and concentrated flavours of freshly cut limes and grated ginger come to life on the palate. Crisp, fine acid and steely minerality linger for a pleasingly refreshing finish.

"One of the stalwarts of the Clare Valley, producing long-lived Rieslings and Cabernet Sauvignons in classic regional style. The range now includes very creditable Semillon, Grenache and Shiraz.
