Delightful moreishness

Serve this Oxford Landing Rosé blind to your friends and I bet they won't know it's 13 bucks. There is plenty going on here to stop you in your tracks, that's for sure. That strawberries and cream deliciousness synonymous with many quality Rosé wines is here. Add white cherries, strawberries, rhubarb and red currants and you have a very tidy piece of work in your hand. A fine rub of texture elevates its appeal adding a delightful moreishness. Well-balanced, casual picnics and barbecues are calling. Great stuff!

Immediate enjoyment

Pale and dusky hue. Soft red fruit notes: pomegranate, watermelon, res currant, pink musk sticks, blood orange, bramble and pink salt. Does a little of both worlds trying to straddle fleshy ripe (and slightly sweet) immediate enjoyment, with the crispness and phenolic grip akin to more traditional styles. Serve up with Thai Beef Salad.

Winery Profile

Oxford Landing Estates was established in 1958 on the banks of the mighty Murray River in South Australia amidst bountiful sunshine, vivid blue skies and plenty of red Riverland soil.

From planting vines to making wines, Oxford Landing Estates takes great pride in their people – some having spent their whole life on the Murray. They are part of a community who are unashamedly passionate about the vineyards, grapes and working together to ensure the wine going into the bottle is what they envisaged.

“Our group of dedicated vineyard staff live on-site and nearby. It’s their care and attention to detail that sets the basis for Oxford Landing Estates wine quality,” says Vineyard Manager Robert ‘Fred’ Strachan.
