Dabel contains more thujone (from wormwood) than most other absinth that has become available in Australia – it has slightly more than Green Fairy and is bottled at 70% alcohol volume. The botanical base of Dabel makes it an interesting alternative to gin.
Tasting Notes: Alone a more powerful yet complex Absinth, maximum levels of Thujone are balanced with the mix of herbs. When mixed Dabel works incredibly well in a variety of cocktails. On the palate, as herbal as Green Fairy but slightly more floral and despite it's strength has a unique and pleasant finish that leaves you always wanting more... very devilish.
