This winery was formed in 1987, thanks to the efforts of expert winemakers John Hancock, Robert and Robyn Wilson. Within five years, the Trinity Hill winery became one of the most famous wine-making places in New Zealand.

The three ranges of wines produced by this winery are Hawkes Bay Range, Gimblett Gravels Range and Homage. The Hawkes Bay Range of wines is made from grapes grown on the vineyards of Hawkes Bay. The Gimblett Gravels Range of wines belongs to the premium category. It is made from grapes grown in the sprawling estates of Gimblett Estate. The Homage range of wines is the best of the three ranges. These high-quality, international-class wines are made only from Syrah grapes.

This is a graceful and elegant pinot noir, vibrant and easy drinking. Raspberries, strawberries, plums and a hint of spice are the prominent aromatics. The tannins are soft and supple, bringing
