In the early 1900’s grandfather Antonio Ulisse’s passion for wine drew him to a unique place: Contrada San Polo in the extraordinary countryside outside the town of Crecchio in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The balanced Linea Ulisse Selezione Rosé from Italy is a cuvée made from Merlot and Montepulciano grape varieties. After the hand-picking, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation is then carried out in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by ageing for a few months on the fine yeast before the wine is finally bottled.
