Online Auction Closing "Going, Going, Gone!"

  • Typically, auctions end at their posted closing time. There are some exceptions to this however, if there are any bids placed on a particular lot within 10 minutes of the auction closing time (the "Going, Going, Gone!" period). It will be extended until there are no more bids placed within ten minutes of the last successful bid.
  • There is no limit to the number of times an online auction can be extended. This makes Grays work more like a live auction where the bidding does not stop as long as there is still interest in the product, rather than assigning an arbitrary cut-off time. To ensure that you do not get outbid make sure you monitor the auction until you have won the item or enter an "AUTOBID" that you think will win!

Buyers Please Note:

  • By registering and bidding, you have agreed to Grays terms and conditions of sale. If necessary please familiarise yourself with them prior to bidding on any items in this auction.

  • Grays guarantees that all vehicles/boats/motorbikes (Vehicle(s)) in this sale are sold with clear title, however in this respect note that: Bidders may find when they do perform a PPSR check (highly recommended) in many cases the vehicles do have a security interest registered against them, which will be lifted as soon as the relevant vehicle is sold and monies are cleared in the secured party’s/security holder’s account; and Please allow up to 10 business days for the security interest to be removed.
  • Grays staff are onsite for security purpose only, please make sure you have people to help you load your purchases and provide suitable transport.
  • Collection can only take place once cleared funds have been received.

We accept the following methods of Payment:

  • 1.2% surcharge applies to Mastercard & VISA transactions
  • 0.7% surcharge applies to Debit card transactions
  • 2.5% surcharge applies to American Express transactions
  • 2.5% surcharge applies to Diners/Discover Card transactions
  • No other cards are accepted
  • Invoices totalling less than $10,000 will be automatically debited from the card nominated within your account
  • Invoices totalling in excess of $10,000 can be paid in-person at any Grays office

PayPal

  • 1.2% surcharge applies to PayPal transactions
  • Only accepted for invoices totalling less than $10,000 where elected as your preferred payment method within your account

EFT (Direct Deposit)

  • For invoices totalling in excess of $10,000. Payment must be made in full within two business days of the auction closing.
  • Please ensure to state your invoice number as the payment reference and email proof of the remittance to accountsreceivable@grays.com.au

Delivery Information

Delivery Terms and Conditions:

All freight prices quoted for this sale include packaging and handling.

All freight prices are charged from the originating warehouse to your delivery postcode and involve one delivery attempt by our nominated courier. A re-delivery charge of $20 will be payable by the purchaser if the carrier is unable to deliver on the first attempt. The re-delivery fee will be charged to the purchaser’s specified account by GraysOnline. By bidding in this auction you authorise GraysOnline to debit your nominated account if a redelivery is required.

No customer pickups are allowed from the warehouse unless specified in this Sale Overview or Freight Calculator due to Occupational Health and Safety reasons.

Delivery Time:

Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery. You will receive an email notification with the delivery details as soon as the purchased goods leave our warehouse. We ask that you only contact the GraysOnline Customer Service Team with any delivery enquiries after the 10 day delivery period has expired.

It is important that you make sure that your delivery address is correct before the auction closes because we are unable to change your delivery address details once the Sale has closed.

Goods will be delivered to the address specified by the purchaser between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure that your business hours delivery address is entered into your account details.

Freight Charge Consolidation:

GraysOnline offers freight charge consolidation discounts on certain items from within the same sale for multiple purchases. If a freight charge consolidation discount is available for the item you are bidding on then this will displayed in the Freight Calculator.

Unfortunately Graysonline offers no freight charge discounts on purchases of wine and large palletized items. The freight charge for these items will be on a per item basis as indicated in the Freight Calculator.
