About 5% whole bunch included to add woody notes with raspberry and cherry flavours with a little graphite. Plush and opulent with structure and poise. 96 Points"

A pure-fruited bouquet with raspberries, red cherries, rose petal and just a little sous bois as it sits in the glass. There's a burst of flavour as it hits the medium-bodied palate, balanced by superfine, persistent tannins. Established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday, Coldstream Hills is one of Australia’s most respected producers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Situated in the cool and beautiful Yarra Valley, about one hour’s drive east of Melbourne, Coldstream Hills’ steep, close-planted vineyards have become a signature of the region.

Coldstream Hills maintains its small winery essence with the wines being hand-made, mainly using open fermenters for the red wines, while the white wines are barrel-fermented.

Inspired by Burgundian techniques, winemaker Andrew Fleming’s goal is to make wines that not only reflect the potential of the Yarra Valley, but demonstrate regional expression, finesse and length.
